The Albert is a large Victorian pub built in 1864 and has survived virtually in its original form with large etched glass windows and stucco ceilings among its features which also include the Prime Ministers Gallery, division bell and Queen Victoria's napkin. The Albert is popular with tourists and also plays host to many regulars from the nearby Houses of Parliament as well as Chelsea Pensioners. The large ground floor pub offers a wide range of traditional cask ales, spirits, and wines and lagers from around the world. The first floor boasts a renowned Carvery restaurant, three roasts are available every day as well as fish and vegetarian dishes. All public areas of the building are fully air-conditioned and an experienced, friendly staff provide a warm welcome.
